Great food, I've been ordering the jerk chicken lunch specials for about 3 days now, the lunch specials is only $6.50 and it's a great size portion. Only thing that sucks at this place is the $10 card minimum 🤦, it sucks because what if I only have money on my card for lunch specials and I don't have cash, I've seen other establishments get in trouble for using the card minimum trick but other then that this is a great place to eat good island dishes.
Honest truth from someone who NEVER whines and who has been going here for years. The food is not tasty, hot, or well seasoned like it has in the past. I went there this evening and ordered the oxtail (you can only order large for $25). I was hungry too and drove a far distance. The rice and peas, plantain, and cabbage was cold. Not even warm. The oxtail wasn’t bad and it was the only hot item. It should have a little less fat. The last time I ordered the curried goat. It looked like beef. It LACKS the curry like how it once was. That was barely warm also. They must have changed chefs because it’s progressively gone to subpar. PLEASE take the feedback in good spirit because I’d still like to support you but you have to pay better attention to ensure your paying consumers are actually getti
Sigh....ordered the stew peas today for $18 was given 2.5piece of fine chopped pig tails. No other meat was in the stew peas just pigtails. They fill the meat section of the box with rice and place the 2pieces of pigtail on top. I have pics and videos I wish I could post here. The rice was mushy and the cabbage had nothing called seasoning or of any taste. The 2pieces of plantain were the only thing palatable. The Indian lady here is very rude and thinks people have to support her restaurant 🙄. Today was a lunch offer from someone and thats the only way Montego Bay Bakery gets a penny from me. The food is cold and tasteless here so if you are not on your way home to re-season and apply heat to your food, save yourself and go somewhere else! If there was a no star they would have gotten it
The food is good Im just use to getting good food and its enough for the money I spend...I ordered oxtails and curry chicken large and I go right around the corner pay the Montego small is their large..food is good but quantity isn't worth my money
I've been here for brunch a few times and I love and enjoy my time at this restaurant. The service is good and so is the food. So I want to go on another night and check out the atmosphere!
