Monsoon Thai Cuisine

Totally impressed with my Pad Kra Praw (chicken) and Thai Ginger order (tofu), with nicely cooked veggies and proteins swimming in lovely sauces and coming through with a nice hint of heat. No complaints about the food, but the ambiance— not so much. It’s as minimal as it gets, and not a truly full-service place. Also … no booze. But for a bare bones Thai joint, not bad.

This was our first time dining in, we usually just enjoy takeout. The dining space is beautiful and spacious, decorating with flowers. The Drunken Noodles (made vegan) are one my favorite renditions of this classic dish. The amount of herbs used add a beautiful brightness to the dish.

I stopped here when usual spot was closed. The inside is so beautful! wood floors and booths, decorated with warm hues for lighting as well as fake plants. The first time i tried this place i got the fried rice and added beef with the mango sticky rice desert and both were very good!! I order mine for pickup and it was still so warm and delicious. (Around $25) If you’re concerned about how it tastes on the reheat - don’t be! It taste just as glorious as when you first chomped your teeth into it. I’m very surprised that it hasn’t been super booked the two times I’ve been in here, it’s on Mississippi which is a great location for walking and window shopping so if you happen to stop by i highly recommended. 10/10

This place is amazing. Every single option I’ve ever gotten from them has been the best Thai food I’ve gotten and all of Portland. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately this Thai food is far less fresh/tasty than it was 5 years ago when I used to frequent it. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but the food was not hot/fresh and the flavors were kinda boring. I may try them again in the future but for the cost I was unimpressed.
