Excellent Fish & Chips dinners: 1 or 2 pieces with your choice of onion rings, regular fries or sweet potato fries & includes their homemade tarter sauce. Great selection of all types of seafood & some prepared dishes. If you Love soups, they have a good variety such as Lobster Bisque, Mushroom & etc. I Highly recommend Monroe Seafood & their prices are very reasonable for the great quality of their foods.

I am half Japanese and constantly searching for quality seafood. I also used to fish a lot, so I am very picky about the quality of my fish. There were two go to places (stamford and Norwalk) that were large purveyors that primarily supply restaurants but and had a small retail area. For years, those places where my go to place however the quality seems to have dropped and I’m traveling less so I was searching for a more local place. I tried this place more than 15 years ago and was not impressed. However, a few months ago, I decided to give it another chance and it was a pleasant surprise. I’ve been back four or five times since. I am very happy with the quality of fish. The staff are always pleasant and patient. I haven’t ordered their hot pre-made food however I’ve tried some of

Fantastic fish market-one of a kind. I have found nowhere else with such a variety of fresh, delicious fish - not local for me but so worth the drive. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and always enthusiastic about the quality and taste of the fish - and the preparation. I feel fortunate and grateful that such a place exists - especially nowadays.

Had the 10 piece scallops, fried calamari with fries, a colossal MD crab cake, and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was amazing. Scallops were so soft! Crab cake was ok and calamari was loved by the kiddo. Amazing service overall!!!! Definitely a great place to get a lobster roll!!! Will be returning

Delicious lobster roll and the best fries I’ve had in a long time! Edited on 8/31/2025 Went back to Monroe Fish Mkt today because I couldn't stop thinking about those delicious fries. The fries were totally different, mediocre at best. Sure wish I hadn't driven 40 minutes to go there. Service was very slow, they must have been understaffed.
