Monroe Falafel

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Mediterranean Comfort Food. I recently stopped by Monroe Falafel, Syed and his staff are warm and welcoming, makes me feel like a regular even on my first visit. Their Falafel is incredibly fresh—crispy on the outside, soft and green on the inside, and perfectly spiced. It’s not dry or oily like you often find elsewhere. It's too good here. Their Grilled Mixed Kebab Platter is Champion - Fresh, Perfectly Spiced, cooked and well served. We'll definitely stop by again.

Very friendly service and nice food. Grape leaves and hummus were both great. Hummus is light in flavor but still tasty. Rice was also delicious. Meats were tasty but all a little dry. We waited a bit after we got home before we ate it so that may have contributed to it being dry. But will definitely be back.

A truly authentic gem. Warm and friendly hospitality. Really good food. Ample parking. Great selection of middle eastern products for sale from olives to olive oil and much more. I’ll be back for sure on my next pass through town. Bravo!

Had takeout here. It was friendly and prompt service and the food was delicious. We had the Fattoush Salad with Chicken Shawarma and the Lamb Shawarma Wrap. Both were really good. It was one of best salads we had in a while. We recommend. .

My first venture into falafel. Wow, where have you been my whole life. Very friendly owner, excellent food. Very fresh and well seasoned. Also had a chicken gyro. I think I enjoyed it more than a Greek gyro. Only 4 stars for atmosphere because it's not your typical restaurant setting but the Egyptian decorations were neat and it's very clean. I'll be back even though I don't live in Monroe.
