Mondo's Restaurant

Was not at all impressed with this place. The service is incredibly slow and not at all attentive. Only had 1 person taking orders. I asked for the chicken fried steak that was advertised as being smothered in white gravy. There was no sauce at all on it. Also asked for Mac and cheese and was given macaroni salad. The cheese on the mondo omelet was just slapped on and not even melted. By the time they finally brought back the syrup for the French toast it was cold. The server did recommend sending it back and fixing it, but I'd rather not have my food tampered with. They also charge you full price even for their mess up. Worst restaurant and service I've ever been to. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE!

We were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I went a second time since the remodel. It was very good. The salad bar did not have much variety so skipped that. The hot food is excellent!! The waitresses and cooks were very friendly. We will reccomend for you to come enjoy food fun and great atmosphere.

Was not the best food that I remember. My baked potato was cold the butter would not even melt. I took a special home the Texas toast was sitting the the gravy and the portion size of the mashed potatoes was very skimpy and was supposed to have baked beans with it when I got home there was no baked beans all of that for $14. On the other hand the catfish fillet was excellent. Was a little disappointed.

The service was fantastic. Our waitress took our drink orders immediately and was right back with drinks and to take our food order. My food was great - the hashbrowns were crispy and perfect. The atmosphere is 'small town cafe' and it was very clean.

Ordered hasbrowns with sausage gravy use to have the best sausage gravy but this had very little meat and a flower taste with to much pepper
