Mondo's Pizza

OH EM GEE this is a delicious pizza! They're on Tower, right next to the Five Guys in an absolute hole in the wall. I was craving pizza but didn't want another chain store trash pancake. Costco is closed, and besides, you can only get cheese and pepperoni there or at QT. So I find a local place. On my short drive back to the apartment, I could smell every ingredient individually. The cheese is just right, and the crust is possibly the most delicious hand tossed crust I've tasted in a very long time.(Sorry Beau Jo's!) Just the right amount of gooey but not raw, and definitely not overcooked. If there were anything to improve, I'd say it could do with just a touch more sauce, but that tastes right, so I'm not complaining. Super delicious compared to other pizzas. Cooked well. Not burnt. I love spice and there are a ton of spicy topping-flavored pizzas. Will definitely return.

I asked for a Calzone. It was sublime. Loved it. Ingredients were great, real cheese and the meats are special.
