Mona's Super Noodle

Mona’s is a great go-to in Hampden whenever you have to decide on a place that several people will enjoy. The green curry is my personal favorite, but everything on the menu is delicious! Service is great, there is sometimes a wait time, but not too bad. Not the best place for a bigger group just because of size, but it’s great for up to about five.

I stopped by this spot for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. The fresh summer rolls with shrimp were a highlight - I loved that they included mint, which isn't always the case at other pho restaurants. The rolls were above average, and the dipping sauce was good, even if it wasn't the peanut sauce I'm used to. The veggie pho was good too. The spring rolls were a bit overdone. One thing that dragged down the experience was the service - our server was polite but not super attentive, and I had to ask for water refills a few times. They also skimped on the ice in the water. Still, if I'm ever in the area again, I'd consider giving it another shot.

Meh, definitely an okay meal but I feel like this place has fallen off unfortunately. I think they’re using frozen veggies and the seasoning/spices was definitely not as good as it once was. Positive notes: the waitstaff and backroom w/ the bar are nice. Good gluten-free and vegetarian options (note: the pho can be made GF). Food comes quick and prices are decent and you get generous portions.

I love the fried rice there. Calm vibe, good food, and the staff is super cool. There’s also a bunch of cool places to go around there too, overall would recommend

This place is awesome. We tried Pho vegetable and Pineapple Rice and we liked it pretty much 😋. For dessert we ordered Mango sticky Rice which turned out amazing and apart from these they have lots of options for drinks and wine. Must visit with your family and friends. Do try their Pineapple Rice 🍚 4.5/5.
