Mom'n'ems Eats and Sweets

We wanted to eat something other than your usual fast food restaurants so my husband found this place. The food is absolutely delicious, you can tell it’s home made and not from cans. I got the open faced roast beef sandwich with 2 sides. I chose mixed greens and mac n cheese. You can tell it’s all home made. My husband had 2 dogs. The cakes are made in house so we split a piece of red velvet cake. Putting this on my list of favorites for when we are traveling to DC again.

Could not order a half sandwich not unless you pay full price. The broccoli and cheddar soup was awful. It taste like garlic soup to much garlic. I guess I might give it another. Try to try something else but yes, it was awful.

Fantastic. We’re so glad we found this place while driving through. Great quick service, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food to make everyone happy—from the health obsessed in our group (green salad loaded with toppings and tuna, pinto soup) to the less health obsessed (BLT, mac and cheese, cinnamon roll, Oreo pudding). Everyone left happy. Super affordable too.

So we found this little place on our way up to visit family the other week. My wife and I love looking for local shops we can support and try out when we are on road trips. Well mark this one down for 5 stars as they hit a homerun with their service, food and friendly atmosphere. Thank you for making us feel like part of the family.

Local people having a big heart for the community and fresh tasty food serving with gratitude. You can feel the love in the homemade goodness they have. Hope they can make it and stay consistent and always improve on making their food tasty. Thanks!
