Truth be told.... I was very skeptical of how the food was going to be. We waited about 30mins due to door dash and the Catering orders..... We wanted to order Oxtails but they ran out. We ordered Brown Stew and Fried Chicken instead and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Their portion size was definitely enough for 2 people a platter🤗 and again Food was very Good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu 😋

Literally, I have concerns for food prep after waiting fifteen minutes from ordering and my food was cold. A supposed jerk chicken and beef patties were 90% texturally contradicting to the main ingredient being ‘chicken (jerk) and beef’. The spices were gently present through the “refried beans” used to consider it a patty. The pie crust was too heavy, doughy and dry. Ultimately , my experience resulted in a bloated and extremely gassy digestion several hours after consumption. My question is, how ‘authentic’ is your restaurant recipes? Overall, not a happy first-time experience.

The place was empty when I visited. This was my 2nd time since it opened!! Unfortunately, this visit was not a good one by any means. When I was waiting for my food to be packaged up... the young lady had gloves on that she was using to take money and pack up the food. My platter, which had fish, was sticking out of the syrifoam container and ahe just put it in the bag. So my food was touching the inside of the plastic bag. Pro: Good service. Cons: The shrimp was like tiny popcorn shrimp... 😳 The green beans were under seasoned and well UNDER COOKED. The yams were a stringy pile of thin, soupy, less desirable sweet potatoes. And my potatoe salad was placed on the same container as my hot food. This definitely WILL be the LAST time that I support this business. It doesn't appear

First time trying this place, I’ve seen good reviews so I thought ‘why not!?’ Going back I see reviews on only the soul food ....so to start I waited 45min for my food I could’ve just cooked myself at this point ...second I ordered jerk chicken and brown stew chicken ...I’ve never in my life had Caribbean food so bland I mean NO sauce at all, jerk chicken had NO spice or flavor, it tasted like baked chicken and I even asked for EXTRA sauce. The rice and peas was good ...the portion of banana pudding is definitely not worth $3.99. This is terrible

Great humble little spot. The food is good the atmosphere feel soul foody. It's right down the street from my work so I have been a couple times.
