Mom and Dad's Bar-B-Que

When you walk in you're immediately aware of their political views. Super uncomfortable with all of the “back the blue” stickers and posters everywhere. (That’s disrespectful to the flag btw) Their meat was SO dry and flavorless i barely took two bites before tossing it. Mac and cheese and green beans were edible but very clearly not home made or fresh. The toilets were revolting and spelled like pee. Waste of money and time. Very disappointing.

Heads up you get very small portions. The meat tastes good but to expensive for the portions given. Has 3 different BBQ sauces original, sweet, and spicy. Free ice cream cones that were good. Would probably not be back.

Great BBQ! hands down one of my favorite bbq restaurants in the state of Nebraska! Staff is very friendly, service is great and the inside of the restaurant is pretty neat with everything on the walls. I’ve had these guy cater an event for me as well and they did a fanatic job. Everyone thought the food was great! Their ice cream is pretty good too. I will continue to eat here. I highly recommend if you enjoy BBQ.

This was our first visit to a new restaurant and we’re excited about it. We walked inside with no one in the building other than the employees we waited 15 minutes before we were even addressed to have our order placed as there was ““ a big order to pack, which was only one bag other customers walked in behind us and one of the employees side and grouned out loud as in distressed that there were customers in the building, there were five employees, and only one of them was working. surprisingly, there was no one in working that was over the age of 21 and felt like kids were running the store and no one was able to hold them accountable. Everybody else was too concerned with their headsets for their music or their phones. This was not a good way to have returned customers as I am also a ret

First time ever being here and with all the “best of kearney” stickers on the door we expected a lot more. The menu is on the more difficult end to read if you havent been here before. The attitudes of the two female employees were very indifferent and a “dont want to be here” type attitude. When i went up to let them know their rootbeer was out the one cashier was behind the line on her phone. When we got our meat it was on the smaller snd colder end of things. My daughter’s nuggets weren’t the best shes ever had. The paper towels in the dispenser are put in crooked so it wont dispense. We came in shortly after open so i can understand a little lax to some extent but this was overall not a welcoming experience. Mac and cheese and rolls were probably the only decent things we had.
