Kebob Republic

Kebob Republic may be my favorite stop I’ve made along I-80 in Nebraska. I highly recommend taking the time to visit if you are looking for fresh and delicious Mediterranean food. Or just a high quality, reasonably priced, meal made with so much love, while driving through Nebraska. The beef schwarma,chicken over rice, and falafel were all amazing. The owner has immense passion that you can feel, which really topped off the entire experience. Kebob Republic has become a mandatory stop for me on every one of my cross country road trips.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I tried the chicken shawarma over rice at Kebob Republic, and it was honestly amazing. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. The rice was fragrant and cooked just right, and the fresh toppings—crispy onions, juicy tomatoes, and vibrant purple cabbage—added the perfect balance and crunch. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the portion was generous. You can really tell they care about quality and flavor. One of the best shawarma plates I’ve had—highly recommend! 🤍🔥

Kebab Republic is a hidden gem! I ordered pita bread and the kebob over rice entree. The entree is a generous portion (enough for two meals or more) and included a big portion of hummus. Everything was fresh and delicious! Tony was freally friendly and didn't make me feel rushed when I asked questions about some of the other entrees. He was generous enough to let me sample the most delicious piece of baklava I've eaten. The photo doesn't do the food justice but it was the best I could do. Highly recommend this place!

We got the chicken shawarma sandwich and the chicken shawarma with rice plate—phenomenal. I’m definitely going back to try his baklava when he has it in stock (he was sold out today!). Bless this restaurant. The plate was very filling and worth the price if you’re looking for something quick and healthy that doesn’t leave you feeling gross afterward.

Kearney is so lucky to have this place! The food is beyond your expectations. It will leave you wanting more. It is so fresh and absolutely delicious. The owner has so much passion in delivering high-quality food that you can taste the love in every bite. I cannot wait to go back!
