Mohegan Diner

Took out a burger and a Belgian waffle. The burger was $20 with bacon that looked two weeks old and fries tasting of bad grease. The waffle was disgusting for $11.95. It was brown inside, so dry it fell apart, and tasted like sawdust…no taste of waffle whatsoever. Threw $12 in the trash. Who messes up a simple waffle? The woman was so rude when I went to the car to get cash because “the bank” was charging the credit card fee. Yep, right. $35 later, what used to be a nice place with decent food 15 years ago, is now a dump with nasty people working there and disgusting food while being as pricey as a 4 star restaurant. They wouldn’t even give me a receipt! Never again!

Was turned away by the snooty steakhouse down the way to our betterment! Service was superb and friendly. Food was cooked to order (no suspicious wait time here) and phenoms! Kicker - there was a Mazarati sitting in this dinners parking lot... shows that you should never judge a book by its cover.

The place is good, but needs work. The waitress had very little patience for us. She wanted to rush us with ordering (the place was empty). We ordered first for my son. We did it right away because he was hungry. She immediately wanted to take our drink order, but I said I needed a minute. She almost bark at me. I ordered Greek salad with gyro meat. The portion was big, and the salad was good. It would have been perfect if I hadn't had to re chop the lettuce. The pieces were big, the salad was difficult to eat. The meat was delicious, but I almost cracked a tooth with the olives. Pitted olives would have been better (just a suggestion). My husband ordered lamb. He says it was just ok. What can you expect at a dinner? 6:30 pm Thursday night. Rude Server( lady ) Don't even know her name. Food whatever Server Rude Atmosphere : employees talking about their personal business. Any whooooo !!! We won't come back.
