Mofongo House

I got rice, beans and stewed chicken $15, which is kind of pricey to not have another side. Back home (Tampa) I can a bigger plate of food with two sides for $12. The food tasted like it had no seasoning. Empanada was absolutely inedible. Tasted like reheated meat or old meat. The only thing that was halfway decent was the relleno de papa (potato ball) Only the service was good!

First time here after a baseball game whit my son, let me tell you!!! That "Buenas mijo como lo ayudo?" Hits home!!!! I know its Sunday and food most be bad but while eating here i saw here pull fresh food !! Too bad its too for from my house.

I ordered the Pernil and yellow rice. Everything was Bland and flavorless. No crispyness on the pernil skin. No flavor in anything! My girlfriend and me were both highly disappointed.

Bought an empanadilla de carne and relleno de papas and it was way TOO greasy. The potato had way to much seasoning and color which that’s not how rellenos de papas are made. Will not be going again. But…the young lady infront was very nice!!!
