MK Ranch Bar & Grill

We've been waiting to come visit this bar & grill. Giving them time to open and get things all lined out. We were not disappointed. We chose to sit at the bar for more casual seating. Our bartendress, Alora, provided great service. We both ordered beverages. Mine was a mixed soda drink his was an old fashioned. Mine was mixed great. Not too light or heavy of a pour and he said his old fashioned was amazing. My strip steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly (medium-rare). He really enjoyed his pizza too. My only complaints would be the $2 upcharge for salad as one of my two sides. I definitely recommend giving them a try and we'll be back again. Good food and very nice people! The staff is amazing and friendly and attentive. Update- I forgot to talk about the food! The pretzel was fresh- warm and soft. Perfect amount of dips. Yummy!! The steak cooked to perfection. And a great baked potato and green beans. Am definitely looking forward to trying more from the menu!!! Fun atmosphere. Stage for live music. Karaoke on Thursday nights! Lots of fun. Upbeat energy. Come on out and show everyone what ya got!!

We came to MK Ranch to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. 1. We were seated immediately and drink order taken. 2. We ordered a pretzel and it was out quickly and ah-mazing. We are a soft pretzel- loving family. 3. Our food came out very quickly. 4. My husband ordered the double smash burger and enjoyed it. My daughter ordered the ranch steak (which is a sirloin) medium rare. She said it was very good and cooked as she ordered. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was perfect. Sauce wasn’t too hot and the breading was crunchy. 5. Overall, we will be back again. I encourage other patrons that maybe didnt have the best experience initially to give an another try as well as give a little grace as they are new and trying to work out the kinks! "Not your mama's fried chicken". We came here for the first time to try the fried chicken plate Sunday. The chicken smelled great, looked great but tasted over cooked, dry and tough. It did not have a chance to steam and became over-done. The crunch on it was good and a lot of it but there was very little meat underneath the coating. My mashed potatoes tasted great but they were cold. The salad was very good. Our server was a little bland and we had to ask for refills. So I think a little more research and practice on the chicken would help. The vibe here is really good. Everything was clean. Service could be a little more friendly. The chicken however was a 3 star or maybe 65%. We will try it again for something different.

Came here for their Valentine’s Day Special. We made a reservation over a week in advance and even called at 5pm on Valentine’s Day to confirm they still had the reservation—only to be told that they did not. To their credit, they were still able to seat us. Our waitress was friendly and overall fine. We started with the Valentine’s drink special ($11). It tasted good, but the martini glass was only filled halfway, which was disappointing. Our meals arrived before our salads. The first baked potato barely had an inside, and the second one wasn’t cooked through. We were told they were out of mashed potatoes, yet several tables around us had mashed potatoes both before and after we received our food. That was frustrating. The steak itself was delicious—no complaints there. However, for $1
