Mix and Mingle Coffee Lounge

My husband and I wanted an early start on our Valentine's Day excursion, so we visited Mix and Mingle Coffee Lounge today, Friday the 13th. It was our first time here for a "breakfast and love" meal, and I must say the atmosphere, staff, and food were all fantastic. The portion sizes are spot on for the price, and everything was prepared exactly to our liking. I especially love that they are happy to accommodate special requests to meet your needs. We will definitely be back!

The food & drinks were delicious. Some of the best shrimp & grits that I've EVER had. The portion size was huge. I appreciate that the brunch is dished up by the staff & it's a nice variety, but I had the plated lunch because the buffet had too much food for me. We were a large group, half did buffet & the rest plated brunch. The meals came out at completely different times so it was a bit disjointed. I wish they had a location in MoCo, I'd probably be their best customer. They're opening a location in Upper Marlboro in the new year, I can't wait to try that location, it's closer.

Great local spot serving much more than coffee. We met one of the co-owners. She made us feel very welcome. The staff was kind and responsive to our requests.

Great vibes! These owners got it right! This is the perfect adult spot, the dim lighting along with the music creates the vibe must of us have been looking for. There’s plenty of seating. The crowd is grown and mannered. Security is present. Parking was easy. I had a good time. I was told the food is very good also. I love the decor! I didn’t get as many photos of the inside as I would like to have gotten but the good thing is this place is not flooded with patrons that are on their phones constantly so I put mine away and enjoyed the moment. Me being originally from NC, the J-COLE painting really caught my eye. The artist for this place is very talented.

I love it here! Found by accident and it’s a favorite for sure! I love the options the sit inside or outside. The location is great… quiet and relaxing. I’ve been here about 3 times and have tried something different from the menu each time. Great pizza! Great drinks. I also saw and spoke to something about the Small Business support they do. I have yet to attend but it’s great. It’s nice that they hang Artists work on the wall for exposure. They also offer a small souvenir and gifts in the front. (See photos) Clean and comfortable space (a MUST for me) The staff is friendly and helpful. Will be back again… Obviously!
