Mister James

Mister James is an old fashioned diner, where people gather to eat and chat, and chat, and chat…sometimes loudly. I like quietness, so atmosphere was reduced to 4 stars. The breakfast of French toast, eggs and crispy bacon was excellent! I’ll be back for more!

Came to Magnolia for graduation in December 2025. Had breakfast at Mr. James place. Family friendly atmosphere great service. Reminded me of my mother kitchen growing up as a child. Service was excellent , food was 10 out of 10. Love the history on the walls!!:)

I go to Mr James as often as I can. Best breakfast around. Good everything else too. I enjoy the hustle and bustle atmosphere. Food is always good. Service is always good. I'm always alone so I get a small single table and enjoy my experience. Coffee cup don't get empty there. Fresh brewed. I always leave a tip no matter what. Especially when I work nights, I get off in the morning and enjoy a great breakfast. If later in the day I'll get a chicken fried steak, or a big home style burger with a good helping of fries. They have a menu full of choices, portions are good size, drink selection is good. I see nothing wrong with this place. I will keep attending.

Was in town for a meeting and asked around about a place for supper. Heard several people recommend this place. They were spot on Older building is occupied by some good old country cooking. We had ham & cheese omelette, hash browns, pecan waffles and biscuits and gravy. Yummy 😋 Mister James was visiting with the guests and his staff was on point. I had zero complaints and will stop next time I'm here.

My last visit to Magnolia was 10 Years ago, until last weekend. Hands down, STILL The Best Breakfast In Town!! **MY FAVES: Grits, Sausage Patties, Pecan Waffle, Shredded Hash Browns, Toast, Freshly Brewed Coffee. **Waitress: Debra, + the OnDemand Order Chef are True Gems, and in my opinion are certified Magnolia Arkansas Treasures! Their kind, welcoming personalities we refreshing. **Budget Friendly. Diamond In The Rough Restaurant, that is a MUST VISIT for all of the Locals in Town.
