MISSION BBQ

I’m writing this as my oven preheats as I was really disappointed with the portions issued for my Thanksgiving Catered Meal ordered this holiday. The meal was so attractive to be less then $200 (XL Thanksgiving Holiday Meal) marketed to yield 12-15 servings and came with reheat instructions. Upon pickup, that didn’t appear to be the case. With the holiday the very next day, I’m left cooking to substitute the lack of servings, and sold out sides selected, for my family, the very thing we were trying to avoid this year in ordering from Mission BBQ—eliminating anyone having to cook. I might’ve been better off requesting individual cups of the sides to truly see my moneys worth. Super disappointed because it’s just no way the sides would yield that advertised servings. I ordered sweet potatoes

Today I visited the owings mills location to get lunch after work with my husband. Well after paying $55 for 2 meals we thought the food would be 10/10 just like our Local Ellicott City location where we live. Boy were we wrong! The food was 1/10 alongside the lady who served us our food. She had a nasty attitude. The place wasn't very welcoming at all. Ill never step foot in that facility ever again. To be more specific about the food, it was dry, very hard(overcooked), and flavorless! I can build a sand castle with the mac n cheese. Disappointing at its finest. We should've waited until til we reached near home to eat. Smh! What a waste!

It was my first time at Mission BBQ. I was greeted as soon as I walked in which was a pleasant surprise. Then, Jayden and Josh made my whole experience top tier. Since it was my first time ever, I had questions. They were funny, polite, patient and respectful. I will definitely come back because of them. Then, as my friend and I ate in the dining area, Felipe, was attentive to not only us but everyone. He was helping to get everything cleaned, he gave us things before we asked for it. He was very polite and respectful. All 3 of these young men deserves a raise!!!!

Hmmm so I was not super WOWED by the food but I was very impressed with the inclusive patriotic decor. First time at a MB and didn’t realize that their image/motto is “The American Way”. So much American and local history on the walls of this establishment, pretty neat and it definitely can aid in some pretty cool talking points/conversation starters. My Meal - I went with the smoked salmon, mac & cheese, collard greens and a sweet tea. Since it was my first time I let the front end cashier guide to these selections and I was pleasantly pleased with how the salmon came turned out. The mac & cheese was basic with what I think were some bread crumbs on top, the greens were seasoned better than I thought, so I’d rate my meal a 7 out of 10. The vibe is where it’s at! Everyone is exceptionally amazing. Customer service to the food…. ✍🏽Justin is the manager. He was awesome as well…. Tayveon it’s amazing. He treated me with great customer service explained every entrée they had on the menu was very thorough with how they make it…. Five star for sure!
