Breakfast was delicious, and the smell of the pancakes wafting through the diner will have you ordering them, even if they weren't on your mind to order. The staff was a true pleasure to deal with. We happened to run into some friends there on their anniversary. The staff was kind enough to dig out some candles and decorate their pancakes so we could all help them celebrate. When the food is wonderful and the staff make it enjoyable, it is a wonderful experience. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last!

Highly recommend place to stuff your face. Breakfast and lunch only. Daily specials, and homemade desserts. Have to try the in-house sauces. I suggest the jalapeno ranch. Sit where you like. Clean bathroom with hot water, at least you know the dishes are clean. Hospitality like no other that puts a smile on your face. Not recommended for the easily offended. Step in feelings better scrape them off before entering the door. Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looking forward to returning next time I pass through.

Fantastic small town cafe for lunch! I had the fried squash and it came with wonderful fresh made creamy regular ranch and jalapeño ranch. Really great starter. I also had the lunch fried catfish and it came with fresh made creamy tartar sauce and great sides. Don’t forget the sweet tea was yummy! 😁. I will definitely be back to try their other favorites. It's a charming, down home, small town diner. Service was quick, effective and welcoming. The food was good, a BLT and homemade onion rings. I'll definitely come back to try more options!

This place is busier than a bowlegged man hemming a hog in a ditch most of the time . Don't expect to get in & out fast .The food is great , service good & the owners are the best . in my opinion ,the best place to eat in Hallsville . Enjoy
