Takeout Brisket, beans, slaw and a side of Bodacious Sauce and bread… <$20 and completely delicious 😋 thank you BBBQ (not fatty or greasy as one patron described. Just ask for a lean cut 😉 Nice Smokey flavor 💨 )

The moist brisket is outstanding. Just melts in your mouth, and you really don't need any sauce. It's that good. Right on par with Franklin's or the famous places in Lockhart. Sausage has a beefy flavor that I like.

So glad we were able to stop in and try it. Food was absolutely delicious and the decor was so cute. We loved it! Staff was nice and friendly. We had seen the signs on I-20 before but had never been able to stop. It definitely did not disappoint!! Wish they were closer so we could have it again but at least now we know where to stop on road trips through East Texas.

Definitely eat here! Great food at a good price. The scrumptious Bar-B-Q will have you coming back again and again. For me, a restaurant has to pass the "smell test" before I'll eat there. The tantalizing scent wafting from this Bodacious location will draw you in. At lunch, when I usually come here, there will probably be a short queue, but it's definitely worth the wait. You can peruse the menu board or enjoy the many artifacts lining the walls to pass the time before you order. My favorites are the Sloppy Joe, the sliced beef, and the ribs. The Sloppy Joe is an excellent sandwich. Rich in flavor yet easy on the pocketbook. The scrumptious ribs are better here than at any other Bodacious location in the Longview area. The food is good and fresh my new favorite is the Chipotle corn with meat I got mine with sausage all I was missing was some cornbread this would be really good come winter!!!
