We have been eyeing this spot for a while and I'm so glad we finally stopped in. It's a small dining space, so don't count on bringing more then 4 people to eat in together. For 2 people it was perfect. We got a beef bun, the spicy broth rice noodle, and spicy oil splashed noodle. Each dish was incredibly fresh and had so much flavor in each bite. The spicy oil splashed noodles are for garlic lovers!! 😋
I stopped by to get some chinese food. My review will not be a complete picture of their good food as they had limited Halal options. I tried the noodles both hot and cold. I tried new taste of food which was good. The plum juice was good Cons: little to none sitting space as most of it is takeaway.
I tried the Roujiamo and Hot & Sour Noodles at this restaurant, and both were absolutely delicious! The Roujiamo was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with a generous portion of flavorful meat. The hot & sour noodles had the perfect balance of tangy and spicy, with chewy noodles that soaked up all the flavor—so addictive! The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the place was clean and cozy. It really reminded me of the taste of home. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
We came here from Chapel Hill and were blown away! This is food from the heart of China and it’s unlike anything we have ever had! We had a dish date and gluttonous rice dessert that was definitely something I never knew existed. We had a spicy lamb cumin burger (!) that was to die for! The Xi’an flour cold noodle salad was also different and amazing. The spicy broth rice noodle is the owner’s favorite and not to be missed! There is very little seating but it’s very clean and the owner is so kind and helpful. This is authentic Chinese food that you probably don’t find anywhere else in the Triangle. Highly recommended!
Fantastic and completely authentic regional Chinese food. Basically a takeaway place with about 6 seats. Xi’an food is hearty and delicious. Not super spicy. The big thing is this: from the super-streamlined ordering to the flimsy plastic containers to the freshly prepared food in a nondescript strip mall, this place feels more like China than any place i have been to in the triangle. Highly recommend. Had the tea eggs, spicy noodles, and mutton stew. The spicy lamb pockets are just ok. Filling was great, but the flat bread usually has more flavor (and fat) in my experience. Still, happy this plac is 40 minutes away. I would be in TROUBLE if this place were closer.
