Miss Ashley's Tearoom Cafe and Catering

The ordering website promises beautiful delicious dishes, however that is sadly not what you will receive. Cookies (we ordered 4 different types and received 3 of the 4) were completely stale and hard as rocks. I quite literally banged them on my counter with ease. I can only speculate, but the oatmeal cookie tasted suspiciously like a Costco cookie that had been left out for 2 weeks. The quiche looked amazing on the website, but what was delivered tasted and resembled wet cardboard. If you are utilizing DoorDash, please note that this cafe operates under the name “The Gold Brew Cafe.” Strongly encourage avoiding this establishment.

My daughter (9 yo) and I came for a tea experience and was not disappointed. The lady took care of us was very helpful with suggestions and provided friendly service. We both chose hot tea and there was plenty of add-ins on the table if you prefer. The food was so good! My daughter had the hot turkey and cheese sandwich that she devoured. I had the lobster bisque, chicken salad on a huge croissant as well as quiche. We both had mixed fruit, assorted bite size dessert and scones with cream and jam. Those scones were amazing!! We very much enjoyed the food, tea and experience, it was well worth the drive from Nashville and we will be back!

We had my nieces birthday party here and she had a great time so we were happy about that. However , I really wish they wouldn’t try to advertise this as an “homemade” type deal. Everything was dry. Bland. That ham sandwich was horrible along with that soup from the store. Also in the pictures you can see a cupcake tower. They told us they would make those when we reserved the table. I had just bought my niece the same exact cupcakes from the store days prior so I knew immediately that everything is not as homemade as they make it out to be. My girl had a great time and that’s what really mattered but for the amount of money spent on stuff from the store I wouldn’t return!

Went here today for an afternoon tea. The atmosphere was really cute with each table having a theme, we had the oolong slimming tea and it was very good, had great flavor and was nice and hot served in a really pretty tea pot, we also had the strawberry pie and it was fantastic! We also had the velvet cake and it was very moist and fluffy it was very good. The service was very good, attentive and answered our questions, Definitely will be recommending and coming back.

I was honestly very disappointed with my order. I ordered for delivery through doordash, and the order came quickly but it was just so subpar, especially for being rated a “top favorite” of doordash. The créme brûlée coffee was literally the most bland thing ever. I was so excited to try the flavor advertised in the menu and was completely and utterly disappointed. I’m honestly so confused about it, like it tastes like a watered down gas station coffee with no flavoring whatsoever, I could believe they gave me the wrong coffee because it tastes completely plain. Honestly a waste of $4.25, I could make better iced coffee at home. The country fried breakfast steak was equally as disappointing. It tastes salty but still bland.
