Miss Alda's Inn

I agree that Miss Alda's Inn deserves more than 5 stars. I wish there were a "super star" category! Miss Alda's is probably our favorite B&B stay ever! Quiet and lovely country setting. Great history in this beautiful home! Miss Alda's is super clean, nicely decorated and so comfortable. All surrounded by the kind of porch you dream about. We stayed in the converted attic room, which we loved. The breakfast was scrumptious! But, even better than all of those wonderful characteristics are Scottie and Tim, our hosts. Two of the most hospitable, kind, friendly and interesting folks you will ever meet! We plan on going back for sure!!

I’ve stayed in a lot of places traveling for business and pleasure. Miss Alda’s Inn is #1. I felt at home the minute I got there. The house has old Southern charm. The location is peaceful. Ms. Scottie makes an incredible breakfast. A cozy living room. Screened side porch. Rocking chairs on the front porch. Fenced backyard. Comfortable beds. I didn’t want to leave.

I only wish I could give more stars. What wonderful people and a beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend to anyone within reach. This is a picture of the historic Barnwell Sundial that is located downtown.
