Mis Tres Potrillos Olney

A completely unexpected gem. The food is absolutely fantastic. They bring chips and salsa to the table and the service is prompt. Very Tex-Mex but not in the commercial way most Midwestern Mexican tends to lean towards. I'd describe it closer to south Texas border on The Gulf Tex-Mex. I had the 14" Seafood burrito. Massive! Perfect portions of shrimp with medium sized scallops and delicious fish portions. It had just a few too many jalapeños but the flavor was insane. If I lived around here, this would be one of my favorite places to eat. Just fantastic!

The staff were unbelievably friendly and were constantly cleaning everything which was great. It seemed like they put in a lot of effort. The only issue I had was that my carne asada was two really thin steaks, I was hoping for one thick juicy steak, but they were as thin as leather. They were tender and it tasted good, just not what I was expecting.

Restaurant was super clean, staff was very friendly. Chips and salsa were excellent and our food came fast and was very good. Great find! Will definitely eat here again.when in the area.

The food was o.k. I didn't think it was different than your average Mexican restaurant. The salsa was pretty good. The service was good. They had the backdoor patio open, which allowed wasps to fly around us while we were seated indoors. This caused my kids to be nervous and spill their drinks.

Stopped by on our road trip and YUM!!! Seasoning in everything is lovely and there were some flavors and spices we love that we don't see as often! The chips and salsa at the beginning were DELICIOUS and fresh. The lunch special is a super good deal and plenty of food! I got the vegetarian fajitas, which weren't as grilled as I would've liked them to be (lil more soft than charred), and was a lot of bell peppers and onions than mushrooms. BUT still tasty! And I asked for the Lunch #8 burrito if it could be the vegetarian potato burrito and they did it for me! I super loved that potato burrito (who wouldn't love potatoes in a tortilla! :D) Overall, I wouldn't mind stopping here again my next time through the town!
