Hovey's Diner

Wow! This is one of the best ever in an all day breakfast menu. The chicken sausage and Gouda cheese made my omelet pop and was enough for two people easily. The corn beef hash was tasty and the service was very attentive. This gem didn't miss a beat!

This diner never disappoints. The food was delicious, classic diner comfort food done right, and the service was just as good. Our waitress AJ was fantastic super friendly, checked on us often, and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service.

Chili is good if a touch sweet for my taste. Garlic burger was great. Hand cut fries were excellent. Personally i would have liked some vinegar for them, but i am wierd like that and they did not have any. Definately keeps the small-town diner feel. Staff was really friendly. They seemed to know most of the customers well.

Delicious diner door. Great service! I started with a side salad and a cup of chili, both were very good. I ordered the butter garlic burger with everything on it. It was delicious but I wanted more garlic flavor! My entire experience was positive and I will be back if I’m in the area.

My husband and I were passing through here on the way home from the eclipse, looking for lunch. I always look for diners in small towns, because I believe more often than not they will serve good, home cooked comfort food. Which is just what you need before a long ride home. Hovey's perfectly fit that description and did not disappoint. There was plenty of room in the restaurant, but we opted to sit at the window so we could take in the sight of the main street. There was a fairly steady influx of people coming in for lunch, so service was a little slow but nothing outrageous. My husband ordered the Country Fried Steak which came with two large pieces, accompanied by small bowls of mashed potatoes, coleslaw and gravy. Everything was very good, especially the coleslaw.
