Minhwa Spirits

I absolutely love Minwha. I've had the pleasure of enjoying some of their signature cocktails as well as some of their small bites. Everything is always solid. I absolutely love that they help support the community with pop-ups as well. It gives customers an opportunity to try food from all different local talents. Sugar + Air has some amazing donuts and my favorite pop-up so far has been the one with Karly's Kitchen and Soup Belly. Karly made the most amazing pho I've ever had. I really enjoyed a lot of the small bites as well. Hoping to see Karly's Kitchen on the rotating menu way more often!

Minhwa is hands down one of my favorite spots to go for dinner or drinks. Need a delicious, satisfying meal? Go to Minhwa. Want a quality, craft cocktail with award-winning spirits that are made on-site? Go to Minhwa. Need a spot to take a date, celebrate a milestone, or shake off a bad day at work? Have a spare evening at all? Go to Minhwa. The entire menu is crafted with care and attention, rotating to highlight seasonal produce. Currently they have a roasted chicken thigh with chili garlic Brussels over kabocha squash puree, and it’s absolutely divine. The hospitality, too, is stellar— Cam and Wami helped us on my most recent visit and provided such exceptional service. ITP folk, I promise you it’s worth the drive. Cannot recommend this spot highly enough!

I had lunch today Minhwa Sprits in Doraville. The location os near Peachtree industrial and just above I- 285. This is located in a new strip center which includes the Doraville library and City Hall The restaurant is not large, but attractive, clean and organized I wanted to order the kimchi fried rice, but it’s only available for dinner so I ordered the kimchi cheese sandwich which came with a small side of spicy tomato soup. Both were quite good. My guest ordered an avocado toast entrée, and added bacon. She said it was good, but not great The the only napkins that I could find were very small beverage napkins. This detail might seem small, but it is essential because authentic Korean yeast creates a distinct depth and balance in soju and other spirits that cannot be replicated with standard, locally sourced yeast. I absolutely love this spot! The service is consistently warm and attentive; it’s the kind of hospitality that keeps you coming back. The space itself is gorgeous: modern-Asian decor with bold, rad art adorning the walls. It’s stylish without trying too hard, and the atmosphere adds so much to the dining experience. The food is always fantastic and I love that the menu always has something new and creative to try.
