Mimi's Taqueria

Can’t beat it! Absolutely delicious every single time, and VERY reasonably priced! We LOVE going to Mimi’s for a quick lunch or dinner. I could probably drink the queso 😂

I could go on all day about how much I love Mimi's, the food, the owners and staff. The food is DELICIOUS, there's no question about that. What keeps me coming back though is the staff. Outstanding customer service from a mom & pop local, small family-owned & operated business! Friendly faces! You want to be there just to be around such amazing people! They have catered private events for me. I have been to weddings that they catered. I have never had a bad experience here (and I eat there pretty frequently). I'm learning Spanish and they are even helping me with that! If you want authentic Mexican food, this needs to be #1 on your list. Shop local. Support small family businesses like this one. You will not be disappointed. I promise!

Was recommended by a local guy "Rich" he said it was the Best Mexican restaurant in the entire area and he was right. It is a taqueria and they do have chips and salsa but it's not like a typical run-of-the-mill get full off of the chips and salsa restaurant. The food is fantastic and service was just as good. With all my reviews if possible bathrooms are a big part and they were spotless. Great place a definite must stop if your craving Mexican food.

Mimi, Angel, and their entire staff never disappoint! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious every time we eat there. It's wonderful to enjoy real authentic Mexican food in this area, and my whole family recommends them to everyone we know. Thank you, Team Mimi's!

I had the chimichanga. The flavors were there, unfortunately it was not hot. Makes me wonder if it was made up ahead of time. One would think something coming out of a deep fryer would be hot. The prices were very reasonable. Would have been nice if there would have been an actual table service. You have to stand in line to order, that could be tedious concerning they only have one cash register. Overall I would recommend. Considering so far this is the best place in Traverse City to get Mexican food that I've been to. Definitely avoid all the eateries down in Traverse City.
