Mimi's Handmade Ice Cream

One of the best ice cream shops in area for sure. There are plenty of options for everything. The flavors choices are great. Very generous with the portions unlike some other shops around the area. The price is pretty good and the quality is great. Great customer service. Pretty good amount of spaces to seat. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

The Ice Cream here is delicious! Clean place, friendly employees and great service. The place has a calm, soothing ambience. Love it!

Mimi’s Handmade Ice Cream is definitely worth stopping by to try one of her soft-serve ice cream swirls in a freshly-made Taiyaki cone. The Washington Post recently featured the matcha and vanilla swirl as an area-best. I ordered the vanilla and chocolate soft-serve swirl ice cream in the Taiyaki cone. I had to wait a few minutes, which was fine because I was able to taste the Mimi’s Handmade and hand packed, mango sorbetto. It was DELICIOUS! I wanted to try the lychee sorbetto, but it was unfortunately sold-out, so I’ll have to go back another time. Mimi’s flavors range from Matcha to Manuka Honey with Jasmine Tea. I think there’s a lychee soft-serve on the menu from time to time. If so, I look forward to tasting it. Given how good the mango sorbetto tasted, I am certain that the lychee

Arguably the best ice cream in MoCo and a close contestant for best in the DMV. The flavors are so unique and made with natural, seasonal, and local ingredients. The service is great and the portions are more than generous. Their prices considering quality and service are unbeatable. This has become our favourite ice cream shop and cannot recommend it more to everyone we know.

I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and this is some of the best ice cream I’ve had. It is delicious and there is a wide selection of flavors. We had chocolate heaven which is chocolate with Nutella and it was one of the creamiest ice creams we ever had. We also loved the mint Oreo. The woman serving us said she makes it herself and she was very friendly and helpful!
