I normally do my own taxes. However considering all the stimulus, tax changes of 2020, and addition of a schedule E for my rental income I decided to hire a professional to make sure I was getting all my tax credit/deduction and most importantly an accurate tax return. I interfaced with CPA Joel and his team. They filed my state and federal return and I paid them for their services. They calculated that I would receive a refund. After a few months of not seeing my refund I checked the status on IRS website and it reported there was an error in my return for the "Recovery Rebate Credit" a
