Thanks Janie! It was our first time there at Milepost. A bit misleading it is called a brewery and yet they don't brew anything.. but the service was good. Seems they have the equipment to brew, just lacking the brewing crew. Also surprised that the sandwiches and burgers don't come with a side.
The beer was great but oh my… the truffle fries and pies!! This please is not fancy but who needs fancy when you can have a great environment, next to the river or inside with big windows opened for fresh air. The selection of beers is excellent and they also have non-alcoholic options. We had truffle fries and sweet potato fried, both of which were excellent. The raspberry pies was delicious, slightly tart and once you start you can’t stop until it’s gone. The coconut cream pie… that for me was hands down the winner. Light (don’t be fooled, it is not calorie free 😅), and with extra filling! The slices were massive! I would certainly come back and would love to try other food from the menu!
Food was good and the serving size was perfect. Flatbread was just ok. Some vegetarian options. Fries are fresh cut! The slice of cake is huge! Plan on sharing it if you order it. indoor and outdoor seating. friendly staff. we will definitely come here again 🙂
Had the milepost burger, and it didn't disappoint. The burger was HUGE and juicy. Topped with crisp fresh ingredients, served hot and fast. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, too! A little expensive and the burgers don't come with fries or a side, those are ordered separately but well worth the money.
We usually stop in Leavenworth or Wenatchee on our way over Stevens Pass, but now that we've discovered Milepost Brewing, Cashmere is our new destination. The food was excellent and different from a lot of brew pubs. The scratch-made fries and potato chips were wonderful, although you need to be prepared for a good dose of black pepper on the chips. Good beer and fast and friendly service.
