Milanof-Schock Library

Love this library. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They have lots of additional events and resources for families. Check out the website. We have even gotten museum passes My kids are doing a reading challenge. We often go to story time and other events. Story time gets a little crowded on Thursdays, so make sure to register your kids. Miss Jan expects good behavior, too. Thankful for everything that this library provides for my family!

The Milanof-Schock Library is a true gem in the community! The staff are always warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space is clean, bright, and thoughtfully organized, making it a great place to read, study, or just relax. Their selection of books, movies, and other resources is impressive, and the events and programs they offer for all ages really show how much they care about engaging the community. Easily made an appointment for a passport picture. The process was very easy and quick. They even took a few minutes to review my application & inform me of next steps. Application for a library card was also very quick & easy with options explained on reservations & pickup available.

It's nice to have a local library with such a helpful staff. Today I was quickly able to get a new library card so that I could download audiobook as I get get ready for a trip out of town. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with just the kind of excellent customer service you can expect from a member the Mount Joy community.
