Mikiko Mochi Donuts

Gluten free. Gluten free. Gluten freeeee!!! My coworkers got donuts and I was so bummed since I have an allergy so I took myself to this spot and all I can say is wow. These are SO delicious and hit the perfect spot. The service was kind and their staff even let me know on the weekends they do gluten free fried chicken and waffles. There’s also some cool toy machines inside for the kiddos. Definitely recommend trying it out if you’re looking for a sweet treat because I will be back. They’re so yum!

Delicious | Good ingredients Wow - I’m a fan of this place. It’s more on the sweet side, so if sweet treats are your thing, you will enjoy the donuts here. It’s not so sweet and heavy leaving you feel bloated and gross after though! It’s delicious with good ingredients. I told my husband I would have one bite and save the rest for later. Nope, that didn’t happen. They use a sticky rice flour base with vanilla, sugar, vegan butter, and coconut milk! The flavor is on point. It’s like eating a delicious, moist Bundt cake with excellent flavor. I had the ube one (I’m obsessed with ube) and my husband had an orange cardamon. My daughter enjoyed their cookies and cream. Such a cute spot! We ordered 12 flavors to-go. Standouts for me were the passionfruit curd and peach cobbler (this one really took the crown). Staff were super kind and the space is cozy. Next time I’m back I need to see about this chicken and waffles sandwich… 👀 Highly recommend for a sweet treat.

I'm sorry that I can only give it five stars, because this place deserves more than five! This is a awesome place! To start, everything in the store is gluten free and dairy free. A big plus for my wife and I. The flavor of the donut, the soft cloud of mochi dough and the beauty of the colors of floating really makes these treats stand out. I can't remember all the flavors, but the ones we bought were excellent. Ube, pumpkin cheese cake and chai are the ones I can think of right now. Definitely try the chai! If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend this shop for a delicious treat!

Unfortunately, this really wasn’t it. I was craving mochi donuts and was really excited to go. Ordered a half dozen to share with my friends. We all tried a small bite of each but ended up throwing them all away. The flavors weren’t balanced and the donuts themselves didn’t hold up well against the frosting. My friend got chicken and waffles said it was fine. I got a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich and the insides were great but on the donut - it was honestly kind of gross? Like just too sweet and mushy for it to be good. Such a bummer all around!
