Mike's Red Tacos

We came during their soft opening and the line was out the door. But it did move rather quickly. We were told about a 20 minute wait, which was understandable as it was new to Mira Mesa. The food came out a little earlier and it did not disappoint. My wife and I had Mike's meal with a side of beans and guacamole. Both were on point. The beans were nice and creamy and the guac was fresh and had avocado chunks!!! The birria tacos were delicious as well as the consomme!! Definitely a place to go for birria and it's in our neighborhood!!!

Walked in and they had just opened without advertising it. One of the coolest looking restaurants I’ve seen and the team went above and beyond to take care of us. The food was 🔥

It's just the soft opening and they are firing on all cylinders. This new location is so spacious compared to the Clairemont location. They also stay open late. I had high expectations and they delivered.
