Mikes has the best donuts on the West Side! Always fresh and ready to go first thing in the AM.

From outside looks like "abandoned den", but bakery is pretty good and cheap. We try few items and totally love all of them.

This is a pleasant little mom and pop type doughnut shop. The staff is very friendly and the doughnuts are fresh. They also appear to decorate cakes. My only critique is that the filling could have a bit more flavor. The cream filling was bland and the chocolate was inconsistent.

Love their long johns, Napoleons and butter rolls. Prices are good. Parking lot has huge potholes and location not too good. But when I crave their baked goods, the location doesn't matter at all. Not sure that they have their hours posted on the door, but they close around 1pm. I know I've driven past there in the afternoons wanting to buy something, and they're closed. Owners work the store themselves, and they are friendly. Front display area needs a good cleaning where they show the cake designs that they will make.

Too bad they closed shop. The only spot to grab butter rolls, mini pig-in-the-blanket. Loved them, very delicious.
