Dan's Ma'ili Shave Ice

Dan’s is the best shaved ice on the island. Came here 4 years ago last time and had to come back this time. 2nd time in 2 days and we will be visiting again at least a few more times this week. Great family owned store.

Delicious shave ice prepared carefully and reasonably priced ($4.50 to $5.50 base price with $1-2 for add ons). We tried several flavors with snow top and ice cream. Good to the last drop. About a block of main road, lots of locals come here. Highly recommend!

Cute lady helped us. We thought the shop was closed when we got there during the Day. The shop is in the middle of a neighborhood. Definitely try it snow capped, yum!! But the syrup was light.. could have used a little more. Overall it was good.

oh my heart is soo full. to see the children line up after school for a refreshing sweet treat and see the barrio style place this is what makes this a magical place you can see the real hawaii and the authentic, culture and experience what the aloha spirit means and truely feel it in your soul. it is soo soothing and refreshing to have a the delight of shaved ice after a long walk on the beach.

Just off the main road, really hits the spot after a hike or a swim. Ice is smooth and flavor syrups taste good. Syrup to ice ratio is just right too.
