Mikado Japanese & Thai Restaurant

This is my all-time favorite restaurant for sushi! I always get their Chesapeake Superman Roll and their pad thai (spice level 3 or 4) with Miso Soup. I mainly go here to celebrate my birthday and other celebratory moments in life. The service is always excellent and the restaurant is very clean! A MUST VISIT! 🥢🍜

My Family want to try something different for my Daughter’s Birthday but we were disappointed about the Food Quality and Taste Very Bad Experience

We wanted something different and gave Mikado a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere gave off a homey but elegant vibe. It was very clean and welcoming. The staff was extremely nice! The seats were comfy. I preferred the Panama Curry. It had a wonderful unique flavor that was so delicious. I ordered it with shrimp (from the lunch menu). We also got the drunken noodles which were also delicious. The salad served with the ginger sauce was a perfect mixture and not over powering. The prices are good and the food quality is awesome! I can’t wait to come back.

I ordered at 630pm for a pickup at 8:30. At 6:59 pm I received a text stating the order was ready. When I called asking about it, they apologized but gave no solution. I didn’t want my food sitting out for an hour and a half. While the sushi could have been refrigerated, I paid assuming the food would be prepared fresh. The manager refused a refund, while I was able to have someone pickup the food for me, we were not able to eat it until 8:30. They lost a loyal customer.
