Middletown Public Library

This library is by far the absolute best in the county! The programs are amazing; get a calendar from the desk so you know when they are. They have a great selection of books, and the librarians will help you get something if it’s not there that day! Brand new building, so it always feels nice and clean, and organized. The kids area is amazing and allows for such great imagination play. I love that the staff keeps it clean and sanitary too! Helps me feel that my kids are safe there! Storytimes are so much fun. You can tell that everyone who works here loves what they do, and that they are happy to be there!

We love this branch in Frederick County its clean and brand new. My toddler is always eager to visit library and we prefer to take her at this location its staff and everything is superior. Must visit 📚

Absolutely love this branch! New; Clean; Every book in the FCPL system and beyond can be brought in; Librarians are beyond friendly and helpful; Kid and adult programs are wonderful. We're so lucky to have this vibrant community resource in Middletown. They've won me over from Urbana and C Burr Artz.

We like coming and playing this library. It’s very nice. I have two boys. They like playing at play area when we’re here. A baby boy puts toys in his mouth and then leaves to somewhere else place in front of his mom or grandma. But she doesn’t say or stop him doing things at all. That makes my sons become sick. I hope the library staff cleans up the toys after. And thank you so much for your service as always!

Explored the new library building on E. Green St. with my daughter today. Greatly designed space with a lot of light and air, books, games and open-ended toys. We got lucky to read to the therapy dogs (it was an event). Kids area gets very busy around the events so consider that if you want a fully quiet time. Friendly staff.
