Middletown City Registrar. Marriage license

I stopped by the City of Middletown Registrar’s Office to drop off a marriage license for one of my couples, and the experience was wonderful. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming, and the process was quick and seamless — I was in and out in no time! The office was spotless, and I couldn’t help but admire the beautiful architecture of the building. It’s always nice to visit a place that feels both professional and inviting.

The lady at the front desk always has a look on her face of disgust every time I go in there. A very rude and unhappy woman. Just by looking at her face tells you she doesn't want to be there. She rolls her eyes and makes rude facial expressions when asked questions or when you ask her to do something. It's very unprofessional for the City of Middletown to have somebody like this as an employee. Hopefully she gets fired and this would be a big improvement for this department. It really is unpleasant visiting this office. One bad Apple spoils the whole bunch. This person should be terminated immediately from this City position.

The lady at this office has a sign on her desk that says “Ask someone else”. I think most people would agree that should not be allowed. My experience with her was unprofessional and upsetting.

The lady at the counter was nice at first. When another couple came in, she completely stopped working with us to take care of their needs. Which was beyond rude. When brought to her attention how unprofessional it is, she told us we can go somewhere else but she's the only one in the office. Beyond ridiculous, she did a horrible job and explaining the forms. Definitely VERY poor costumer service!!

The older lady at the counter in the city clerks office is completely disgusting and rude! She is very unprofessional and racist, I’m in disgust after the attitude she gave me when trying to get a permit for a personal matter of mines! Beyond disappointed to see the kind of people that get hired in our towns buildings.
