Violet Hill Bed And Breakfast

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary in Natchitoches Louisiana. We stayed at.the Violet Hill Bed and Breakfast. It was not our first visit to this lovely historic town but it was our first time to stay at the Violet Hill b and b. We have stay at many b and b's but this was the first time we ever felt like it was actually our home. Miss LaVerne is as gracious as can be and is the epitome of hospitality. The house is lovely could use a little paint here and there but is furnished just like a b and b in Louisiana should be. We stayed in the Stem Wheeler room and our king size bed had beautiful linens and was very comfy . I loved the old clawfoot tub and oh my those gorgeous rose sinks were just wonderful. Now we don't like to get up very early but it was so worth it for the delicio

This little Bed & Breakfast is fantastic! I stayed here for an extended period for a medical rotation, and I was never met with anything less than hospitality, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Mary and her family welcomed me to the area and provided me a clean, peaceful, and beautiful place to stay. I would definitely come back here again. Would hope to come visit again in the future for leisure instead of business next time!

My husband and I recently stayed here, in search of a quaint, quiet weekend getaway. The house is absolutely beautiful and we felt right at home. Our hostess, Mary was so friendly and cooked us a wonderful breakfast, and we enjoyed a lovely conversation with her about the history of the house as well as things to do in the local area. We are really looking forward to returning.

We stopped here on June 17 on our way to upstate new york. Mary was very friendly and the house was beautiful. There were horses in the barn and we saw them grazing in the field. We stayed upstairs and were the only customers for the night. The accommodations were clean and well kept. Breakfast the next morning was good. I would recommend this as a nice place to stay.

I am almost hesitant to say how fabulous this place is because I want to come back again and again, and want there to be room for us. My husband and I were looking for a quiet, charming place to celebrate our anniversary. We found it and more! Beautiful, house, beautiful views, so clean, spotless. Breakfast was fantastic, and having celiacs it’s not easy to have breakfast out, she absolutely took my celiacs into consideration and carefully thought out the menu. She was warm, friendly, and I can’t say enough great things about this place, we will be back!
