My pictures aren’t good, but the food is! Ever since I discovered this restaurant downtown, I have fallen in love with it and have not had a bad experience yet. I’ve even come in to ask for help with getting change and water with a friend once and staff was quick to help. Every visit I’ve had friendly service, food made to order quickly, food is always served warm and tasted delicious. No complaints. My favorite things to order is the takoyaki, pork shumai, bento box A, or the chicken hibachi rice.
Pho was satisfying for a craving for sure, and for a cold day. The food came out hot and steaming, the way I prefer. It is nice that you can customize your noodles and soup to what you want for the best combination. Similar to other reviews, I do feel the price is a little high for the quantity you’re getting. It may just be cost of the location, but I didn’t mind.
Food is very tasty. It is overpriced. I had a small bowl, and it was 1/2 cup of rice and 5 pieces of meat for 11 dlls. The porkbuttsteam bum was 5.5. Not sure if it is worth the portion.
So this place is more like 3.5⭐ in all fairness. The employees were very friendly and the place was clean and concept of customizable Asian noodle dishes is fun. But the food is just sort of, fine? Nothing standout but not awful. Maybe a bit pricey for what amounts to middle of the road. The serving size was fine and the food was alright but it's more of a "fulfill a craving" type of place than a destination/must visit type.
I’ve usually had a pretty good experience here. Not great but good enough to return again. Today’s experience definitely changed my mind about eating here again. There was a hair in our daughter’s food. (I know it was not our hair because it didn’t match the texture of anyone else’s in our family.) We were offered a new meal but at this point I don’t feel as comfortable eating food from here anymore.
