Mi Sombrero

Nice little Mexican dive off the main drag. We stopped while traveling through town and really enjoyed it. Lots to choose from and the prices were really cheap.

My first time here, the food was great. Last night was my 2nd time, and the food was decent. My steak nachos were pretty good, and my husband's quesadilla el la plancha was great. The taco salad and burrito A was bland.

First time having Mi Sombrero and it was a seat yourself day. Didn't have much wait on food, and it was alright. I got the quesadilla supreme and it came out pretty hot too. She got these nachos chip things and they weren't that good in my opinion.

Service was great, People really freindly, quality of food great too. But the only thing was they were out of guacamole when we were there. And that they are only open certin days. That's why the 4 stars. (Update on Mi Sombrero. ). I just went back 3 weeks ago to give them a try again. Maybe they would get a better rating from me. Well they are not better. In fact they have gone down. The standards are not high nor the food quality, and service was below the levels that they need to be at. We went and sat down at the table , It was wobbly and so we moved to another table. The hostess told the waitress so we had to wait for her to ask our drinks preference. And we also ordered the chunky guacamole, which is wonderful. We got salsa and Guac quickly and then ordered. We waited around 30 minu

One of the best chicken wet burritos I have ever had. Their beans and rice have good flavor as well. I cleaned my plate! We will be back. It's our kids favorite Mexican place in town.
