Mi Pueblo Real Bar and Grill

Im Mexican… I stopped here with my family because it said “authentic Mexican restaurant”… yes, the name of the plates are Mexican, but this is NOT Mexican food at all… that is ok. But, the food was really bad, we got 2 bites of “chile rellenos” and “enchiladas” and “tacos dorados” we have to stop eating because I seriously believe the food was going to get us sick. I don’t like to post bad reviews. But I don’t know how this places stay open.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. There was a mistake made in the order but it worked out for us, so no big deal. The atmosphere was nice and the food was really good. We will definitely be returning.

Ordered food tonight at the hospital for staff birthdays, picked our food up at 8 pm finally able to sit down to grab a bite of eat at 850 pm and one of our staff that we were celebrating their birthday didn’t even get their food. Highly disappointed, spent $100+ on our order just to get back to the hospital and not receive what we fully ordered.

Seated right away. Chips and salsa were brought to our table. I ordered the queso cheese sauce. Delicious! A full menu. Anything and everything. Steak, fish, shrimp. When you're hungry and want a filling meal this is the place. Recommend!

Service was beyond excellent, our server was very friendly and you could absolutely tell he loved doing his job. The food, on the other hand, was good but not acceptable if it's to be considered authentic Mexican. I believe the beans were from a can and the chips were not as fresh as you'd want them to be. They do have a very nice children's menu and in general a very large variety of combination platters so you will not leave hungry, that's for sure. They have fried ice cream and churros available as well.
