Mi Mezcal Mexican Grill

Our first visit to Mi Mezcal Mexican Grill in Cadillac MI. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The building is clean and has a very nice atmosphere. They had some nice specials tonight (Monday) and their menu had many dishes that we’d never heard of before. After researching their website we selected this restaurant as we were particularly interested in the molcajete lobster. My wife enjoyed her sangria and we both agreed that the free tortilla chips and salsa was delicious. We split the order of Molcajete Lobster. This dish included beans, rice, and salad. All were very tasty. The Molcajete is served in hot rock with a choice of bread, flour or corn tortillas. The serving size was substantial and was supposed to contain lobster, scallops, shrimp, onions, corn and bell pep

What an absolute great restaurant! We had excellent food and service- enjoyed the tacos al pastor and shredded beef chimichanga. Nice kids menu options too! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

We visited Mi Mezcal for dinner and really enjoyed the service and food. They have a daily happy hour and the house margaritas were excellent.The Al Pastor tacos were tasty and enjoyed the verde and red sauce it came with on the side. Our waitress did a great job checking on us regularly and the food/drinks came out quickly. The restaurant was well decorated and had a beautiful bar in another room. Definitely recommend Mi Mezcal! Great Mexican restaurant in Cadillac!

Arrived in Cadillac around dinner time and the reviews for this place seemed like it would be a good choice. Chips were cold and a little on the stale side but the salsa was really good. I had the steak fajita quesadilla with no tomatoes. A lot of veggies but not much steak. The steak was under seasoned, not much flavor. The rice was a little bland but okay. Server was pleasant.

We were there for a late lunch. It was not busy. The place is huge. The service was excellent. Very fast. The food was good, not super authentic but good. We had a burritos verde and the fish tacos and chips and salsa. Each meal was $15. There was a lot of food so we took home leftovers. I’d recommend this place and I’d go back.
