Mi Jalisco

8/19/24—After picking up my stepson from his friend’s place and an unexpectedly interesting visit to the Franklin Pierce Homestead (because why not mix history with hunger?), my husband suddenly declared he was starving. We were tipped off about a place called Mi Jalisco, so off we went! When we got there, I was surprised—the place is massive inside! Rows and rows of tables, and it was only around 11 a.m., so we practically had the whole place to ourselves. I decided to keep it light and tried the chicken soup, which was decent, but let’s be honest—I was really there for the margaritas. I sampled two different ones, and they were… okay. Not the best, not the worst—we were there for lunch so two were enough ! Meanwhile, my husband and son were happily devouring their dishes like they hadn

The updated drink menu removed my favorite drink, but added a few new ones to try. I look forward to their Trash Can now! The carnitas always hit the spot when I'm looking for a big meal at a good price. The service is straightforward and attentive. The atmosphere is a bit dull, with dust on some of the decor, but other than that, I love Peterborough's MI Jalisco.

I needed a quick lunch and the drink was great, the food was delicious and I got done in good time.

Giving 5 stars based on previous experiences. Food is always excellent and the home made chips and salsa can't be beat. Hot salsa is available. Chips were a little overcooked on this visit. Service is always very good to awesome. The margarita/tequila menu is very well executed. Mixed reviews on the sangria(she liked it, I didn't care for it, no visible fruit other than garnish.) Dinner is always amazing and did I mention the awesome margaritas. It would be nice to have hot water in the bathroom. Their twist on fried ice cream looked very interesting Awesome margaritas.

SO YUMMY AND DELICIOUS!!! They messed up my order once but they were very quick and gracious about fixing it. The food is delicious. The service is just fine. The ambience is nice. And the bathroom sink in the ladies room IS AMAZING!!! I want one so badly. Highly recommend! Five full stars! P.S. OH!!! And the sopapillas!!! MUST TRY!! They are so incredibly delicious.
