Peterborough Town Library

For all the money spent on this library you can not see it in the book collection. The adult fiction is small with no organization to it. Most libraries have books sorted by genres as well as author. It would be nice to have mysteries, romance, suspense etc. It is a big disappointment.

Recently completed multi-million dollar renovation that perfectly blends the old and the new into an amazing community asset. Friendly staff, large selection of books and other media material, fun spaces for reading, studying or contemplation. Really an amazing place.

Six stars for the oldest tax-funded public library in the United States. Not only can you find a few hidden gems and classics, it's a terrific place to quietly get some work done remotely thanks to their consistent and reliable network connectivity. I'll echo the sentiments about the staff - always smiling and always helpful, they even accommodated allowing me to take a video call in a private room last summer, which was not only kind, but above and beyond. Kudos to Peterborough and it's A+ library, looking forward to seeing how the renovations turn out!
