Mi Cabaña Mexican Restaurant

We ate here for the first time last night. I'll go back. Typical Mexican restaurant decor and quick service. We ordered the fresh table side guacamole and it was very good and the portion was large enough for 4 people. My margarita was very weak but our server brought a bottle of tequila to the table and did a VERY generous pour-over, problem solved. I ordered the pork Carnitas, they were very good. Others around the table had a chicken Quesadilla, Cali burrito and the largest serving of steak fajitas I've ever seen. It was literally enough food for the table. Our server was chatty and attentive.

Very sweet staff and really good food. Perfect environment for any occasion. Also really good margs 🤩

Waited for a while at the door before being tended to, looked at or greeted and escorted to the table. There was a larger party there so could of have limited staff at the moment to "man the front" but it was noticed that it was the end of their meal, as there were boxes and they were standing up to leave. We instantly ordered right after drinks were brought to us. And we asked for queso. Queso was not brought out and had to be asked again, along with napkins and silverware as none were given. Tacos and a kids quesadilla was ordered. The wait time for the food for 20-30 minutes. All of the food came out cold. We decided it was time to not stay much longer and decided to get a to go box. I don't think I've ever been so anxious to write a review. I usually visit Jacksonville, NC locations, but as if now I will frequent the Morehead City location. The vibe from the staff was amazing, service amazing, drinks and food AMAZING... Thank you Mi Cabana for providing a service and customer service I'll happily spend my money on.

Me and my boyfriend went here just for a lil lunch and it was so delicious!!! The owner was super sweet, he even bagged our food for us🥹 The atmosphere is super nice. Super filling and now we have leftovers!! :)) We're def coming back!!
