Mezza Thyme

We hosted a 20-person outdoor wedding reception at our home, and Mezza Thyme catered the event. The food was outstanding. Throughout the meal, I kept hearing the same comment from different tables: “This is really, really good food.” And it was. The Mediterranean dishes were vibrant and fresh — not generic or middle-of-the-road, but thoughtfully prepared with balanced flavors and ultra-fresh ingredients. Awesome place to get some delicious Mediterranean food! Service was exceptional and the atmosphere is awesome with a lively bar downstairs and a cozy upstairs with a fireplace and plush seating! Recommended you get a healthy order of their freash made pitas to go with your dish! They were so good we ordered them twice during our visit! The drinks were awesome as well! Loved my espresso martini!

Ordered chicken Shawarma sandwich ($14), lamb/beef Shawarma sandwich ($15), falafel sandwich ($13), and grilled chicken ($17). The service was super good, and the guys were very welcoming. Overall, the Shawarma sandwiches tasted good, but they were dry and lacked sauce from inside (garlic sauce for chicken, tahini for beef). However, I asked them for more sauce and they were very helpful. Proportion size was good. Meat was thinly sliced. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked thoroughly. The meat had proper spices like the ones you get overseas. The falafel sandwich was good, had proper amount of sauce. The falafel balls were crunchy and freshly cooked. However, its spices was a bit over on the coriander. Salad combo inside was perfect.

I had the most incredible dish from here and I am so excited to go back. I'm from New York and we have excellent Mediterranean food over there. I had been craving garlic sauce and looked up Mediterranean/Lebanese food near me and this restaurant popped up. I am so grateful that it did. I ordered takeout. I got the grilled chicken which comes with garlic sauce, hummus, raw onions and tomatoes, and fresh cilantro. While I did not like the hummus due to my personal taste, I thoroughly enjoyed everything else. I have told everyone around me about this restaurant because my food was so incredibly made. This review is specific to Mezza Thyme catering (although we're big fans of their food to begin with). We have a charter boat business and have Mezza Thyme on our list of recommended vendors. They are a dream to work with. Saud is super responsive, kind, on time and an overall pleasure to work with. The food is always a hit with our guests! Cheers to many more events together.
