Mezza Luna Italian Restaurant & Bar

The first time I came to try Mezza Luna, there was a mix-up with the reservation system, and we weren't able to stay. I followed up about the experience and to my surprise, the owner and executive chef, Daniele, invited me to come back. I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, it was clear this restaurant is run by people who genuinely love what they do. It's owned and operated by a couple, and the entire staff feels like one big family. The space is small, intimate, and warm. I ordered the butter squash ravioli with sage butter sauce, paired it with the recommended glass of Borgogno Doc Dolcetto. My beautiful wife and I tried this wonderful restaurant today. We were greeted by Kim. She showed us to our seats and took our order as well. We started out with an espresso martini and some fresh bread. Appetizer: Had the grilled octopus and the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque had lobster in every bite! The grilled octopus was perfection!!!! Dinner: She had the Seafood linguine with white wine sauce. I had what they called their special. A short rib with a gnocchi. This was a very special dinner that was unforgettable and the meat just fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. It was the best dinner that I’ve had in a long time. Went for my Boyfriend’s mom Birthday! Had the best time and the best waiter. Everything was nicely explained and the food was amazing! Literally everything on the menu was great and id recommend this place to everyone. Definitely a much needed experience for date night or special occasions!

Mezza Luna is such an amazing place. The food is incredible. The chef imports his ingredients from Italy and you can definitely taste the difference. The only thing that can outshine the food is the hospitality. I’ve felt like family since the moment I first walked in the doors. This is by FAR my favorite Italian restaurant. My wife and I just attended a prix fixe dinner with wine pairings from a sommelier for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The food, wine, and vibes were delightful. They are doing another prix fixe dinner on October 30th, 2025.

The food was great! Calamari melted in your mouth and wasn't chewy. Neither was the mussels, which were large, fresh, and very delicious. Also had an arugula salad and chicken fettuccine, both did not disappoint.
