Metro Diner

Ordered the Fried Chicken Plate(Half of a chicken w/ green beans & mashed potatoes with gravy). Husband had the Fish & Chips and granddaughter(6) had chicken tenders w/ fries(ate all her food). All the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Was greeted by everyone as we entered the restaurant. Being Southerners, we loved Ms. Robbie provided the type of service we’re all hoping the world gets back to. She was pleasant, smiling, attentive, and definitely knew the menu. Even the chef stepped out when she had a moment. Love this place! Definitely coming again.

Its my third time here. Food is fast and fresh. Every waitress has been great. Kudos to the training at this location. They each have been spot on. Corina, Olivia, and a younger brunette, (forgot her name😬),have been such a blessing in this town. I work in hospitality and they are truly genuine!

Mar '25: Love the Belgian waffle and pancake specials! Sandwiches are also yummy. The service has declined in the last several months but it is noticeable there has been constant turnover. I hope they stabilize soon.

When you come here, first, ask to be seated in Terynn's section. She is the best! Next, throw caution, diet, and all other reservations to the wind. Order the Belgian waffle and get it cinnamon roll style. Pair it with a side of bacon and a cup of their fresh coffee. Describing it as a religious experience would be an understatement.

Just went to metro diner for the first time for breakfast. We got a to-go order of the croissant French toast breakfast meal, bissell breakfast meal, and cake. We were excited to try this spot, but will not be returning. The waitstaff was very kind and bagged our meals well, but that was the best part of our experience. One of our 2 croissant French toast pieces was entirely raw and eggy on the inside. Everything in general (home fries, French fries, eggs) was bland. And you could tell the grill was a little dirty based on the taste of all the griddled items. Pancakes were also a little overcooked. Our meals weren’t terrible, but for $50 you can get a much better breakfast at other places. We didn’t end up eating more than half of our food and the rest is in the bin.
