Metate Authentic Mexican Restaurant Dobbs Ferry

There were two other locations. The one in north Yonkers unfortunately closed but the Riverdale site (and this one) are still going strong. Great happy hour, solid plates, and great service. Drinks are well done. Parking can be a problem and there aren’t many tables when the place is popular, but worth it.

Quality homemade food and great staff.

Ordered here for the first time because we got the brochure in the mail. Sadly they wouldn't deliver to us because we weren't "close enough" however I don't feel like mailings should be sent out to the immediate areas saying free delivery if you won't deliver there... Regardless, we picked up and it was delicious! Got the 20 tacos, it was a great deal, came with extra onions, limes and lots of salsa. All tacos were delicious and fresh. Green and red salsa are both super spicy but yummy none the less. Will be ordering again!

First time there for takeout. Fantastic tacos and chips. Definitely get the habenaro salsas, they have a red and green; both delicious and spicy. Homemade tortillas are a must. Enchiladas Rojas were good, and great rice and beans. Large portions. Very friendly. Finally, a good Mexican takeout place in Dobbs Ferry. Will be back.

I used to visit the one located on Riverdale but after they open this one on Dobbs Ferry I haven’t stop coming here. I Love the house Margaritas on the rocks, I love the food and the chicken sizzling fajitas are amazing. The staff its so nice and always so helpful, The manager Franyaris its an amazing person and always gives great service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone you won’t regret it.
