Despite the 3.9 score on reviews for this place I decided to give this place a try to cater for an event under the recommendation of a friend. I was told their food was really good but their dine in service can use improvement. There for I did trust the recommendation and very glad I did the pernil arroz con gandules and roasted chicken was a great choice very nice fresh and tender amazing seasoning. Everyone at the party complemented and asked where did I hot it from. Many got up for a second round as the portions were very generous for the very fair price that I paid for. I'm in love with this place. At this point you can say I'm a regular here. They know me my mom my kids. Food is so good I used to travel all the way from PA just to eat dinner here some times. Staff is lovely food is great! Highly Highly recommend

I tried calling just now but the lady told me she only speak a little English and I don’t speak Spanish. So I’m leaving a review bc it’s ridiculous to get crappy food and not even be able to call in and ask questions. My coworkers and I ordered food today from Meson. I was very excited because I LOVE their empanadas and food overall. I got beef and chicken - 5 in total which is $15. They had no seasoning. They were dry like you need to drink something to get them down and absolutely no sauce to go with them. I called to see if the recipe has changed but I wasn’t able to communicate. Now four of them are in the garbage. Absolutely disgraceful empanadas. Just cooked ground beef. No flavor. Dry. Just cooked chicken. No flavor. Dry. The maduros - not great. Very tasty authentic Dominican food. We ordered the breakfast (desayuno), the beef empanadas and papa relleno and they all came out piping hot and super delicious!!! And they do not skimp on the fillings for the empanadas! First bite and I got nothing but beef! Incredible

I was in the mood for some spanish food and its been a while since I been there. I ordered the steak pieces with yellow rice and black beans. They must of been busy in the morning because I was put on hold for a while. After I ordered I walked over to the place and the food was ready for me. It came to a little over $9. I went back home and dug in. The food was ok but there was plenty that I couldn't eat in one sitting. The steak was kinda dry which was the biggest thing for me but the other items are good. I had a decent experience.
